So much drug activity and the police hardly take notice. Also a lot of homeless tend to stay around the park. Wish there was a safe and loving place they could go to stay cool in the summer

It would be a nice park if it wasn't what seems to be a homeless refuge camp. It was packed with homeless individuals and addicts. I went there with my daughter for a boxing event being offered by the city. We were uneasy and watching over our shoulders the whole time. I never even knew this park existed until our visit here and I'm assuming this is part of the reason as to why I've never heard of the place. It would be nice if it wasn't what seemed to be a safe haven for the homeless and addicts. They have a basketball court and a pretty nice park and it just seemed like it has a lot of potential.

It's a really nice set up, even has an exercise station for the adultsπŸ‹οΈβ€β™€οΈ! It usually is kept up well. Just be aware that if for some reason you have your child out of school for an appointment or something & are thinking about going by there, I suggest that you wait until the end of the school day. MOST people that probably shouldn't be there when kiddos are there are respectful, unfortunately others aren't. They mostly stay to the bottom of the hill, across from the wicked cute little victorian house. But, there's a path to walk around the park & courts. Minimum parking, some street parking available. No bathrooms. It's so cool, this nice spot in the middle of this area! ☺️

Needle park don't go there after dark ever... And clear the area your kids will play in. Mostly a place frequented by harmless homeless people thrown of the shelter. If you don't want them in the park have city hall change the shelter policy to allow them to stay in.
